In Can Tho, Vietnam, the national validation workshop for the project "Enhancing Transboundary Fisheries Management in the Lower Mekong Basin" took place, featuring representatives from four countries: Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam. This event was not only an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss fisheries management issues but also a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences in this field.

One of the key highlights of the workshop was the discussion on the main components of the project, including transboundary ecosystem-based fisheries management (TBEFM) and incentives for sustaining and scaling up these management practices. The Project Lead Consultant provided a detailed presentation on the theory of change and results framework, helping delegates understand how the project will be implemented.

The use of specialized terminology, such as "transboundary ecosystem-based fisheries management" (TBEFM), "sustainable capture fisheries value chains," and "FRIP" (Fishery Resource Improvement Program), showcased a deep understanding of the field.
