Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA), together with Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG), has had a meeting with MPIC-led economic and product promotion mission. The goal is to update rubber market information from both sides and facilitate business matching.
At the meeting, the Malaysian Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities expressed his wish for promoting close collaboration between Vietnamese and Malaysian businesses in the rubber, wood, palm oil and furniture industries. This was also shared in the presentation of the Vice Chairman cum General Secretary of VRA on the sustainable and responsible development of Vietnam’s rubber industry, including designing guidance on how to mitigate environmental and social risks for businesses, improving traceability and transparency, among others.
