English Vietnamese Interpreter at MOU signing ceremony between the Republic of Sierra Leone and An Giang corporations

During this visit, the President Julius Maada Bio of the Republic of Sierra Leone wished to strengthen agricultural cooperation with Vietnam, particularly in rice production and freshwater fishery. This was demonstrated via MOU signing ceremonies between Nam Viet JSC (NAVICO) with Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources, and between An Giang Import-Export JSC (ANGIMEX) and Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. ANGIMEX and NAVICO are respectively the largest rice and pangasius exporters contributing greatly to An Giang’s export turnover. This event not only marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Sierra Leone, but also enhances An Giang’s position in the global rice market.
