Alongside specialized trade and technical conferences, the AKT Interpreting Team takes great pride in contributing to national development efforts through social impact initiatives. A notable example is the recent Consultation Workshop on the Gender Checklist and Guidelines for Gender Mainstreaming in the National Target Program for New Rural Development, held in Cần Thơ.

 

The event brought together representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs (MOLISA), the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development (IPSARD), and the Institute of Labor Science and Social Affairs (ILSSA) to provide critical insights and recommendations aimed at fostering more practical and effective gender mainstreaming in rural development. Unlike conferences that require extensive preparation, this workshop demanded a high level of adaptability and sharp interpretative skills, as it was primarily centered around group discussions and idea exchanges. This ability to think on our feet and navigate dynamic conversations—in addition to our specialized expertise—is what truly distinguishes AKT’s interpreting services.
