iTech Expo 2024: new technology for a new era
The International Technology Forum iTECH EXPO 2024 opened at the SKY EXPO Vietnam International Convention and Exhibition Center, bringing together nearly 350 booths from domestic and international corporations and businesses, showcasing innovative technological solutions and products.
The Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA) opening ceremony was honored by the presence of high-ranking officials, including Mr. Bui Hoang Phuong, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, and Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. Diplomatic representatives also attended, such as Mr. William Lawrenson, Deputy Consul General of the United Kingdom in Ho Chi Minh City, and Mr. Chang Wen Chung, Director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office.
After the ceremony came the two keynote speeches. Dr. Nguyen Cong Ai, CEO of KPMG Vietnam, presented on "Global Technology Trends: Opportunities and Challenges for Vietnam." Following this, Dr. Thieu Phuong Nam, CEO of Qualcomm Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, shared insights on "New Technologies Shaping a Sustainable Era."
