AKT translation for Gala and Launching event

2025/11/05

B&A Air Conditioning Engineering Co., Ltd. successfully hosted the AHRI Certification Ceremony for its AHU products – a significant milestone affirming the international quality and global integration spirit of the "Made in Vietnam" B&A brand. The event was a resounding success, graced by the presence of esteemed partners, loyal customers, and reputable speakers from both domestic and international spheres.

The event also featured an in-depth presentation on thermal solutions for the semiconductor and data center industries by Mr. Chau Tran – President of ITSJ, highlighting the stringent demands for environmental control and energy performance.

We extend our gratitude to our client for entrusting AKT Interpreters with this specialized HVAC event, which encompassed a range of specific topics:

Interpreting for Semiconductor Equipment Cooling & Semiconductor Types: Cooling systems are essential for specific semiconductor processes like Lithography and Deposition. Interestingly, the source categorizes semiconductors beyond typical Logic chips (CPUs/GPUs), highlighting Analog chips (processing continuous signals like temperature and sound) and Signal chips (measuring and converting real-world signals). The North America Data Center Cooling market is rapidly growing (10.9% CAGR), projected to reach nearly $15 billion by 2032.

Interpreting for AHRI: An association with over 330 members, AHRI governs 40+ certification programs. A critical difference is that the AHRI 1350 standard mandates testing AHU casing mechanical performance using the Real Unit with simulated airflow, contrasting with the Model Box approach often used in EN certification. AHRI also applies specific pressure ratings for specialized applications: achieving the highest level certification (CD1/CL1) for Clean Rooms requires testing up to 2500 Pa, highlighting a rigorous approach compared to EN standards.

Interpreting for High-Tech Cooling Solutions: B.A. Air Solutions USA was established in August 2025, focusing on the cooling supply chain for Semiconductors and Data Centers in the USA, Japan, and the EU. Their financial targets are notably ambitious: aiming for $500 million in revenue and seeking an exit valuation of $1.2–2 billion within five years. This aggressive strategy is underpinned by the massive market scale: the Data Center Cooling opportunity alone is projected to exceed $30 billion by 2030, underscoring the critical role of thermal solution providers.

The AKT team was particularly honored to provide professional interpretation services for the ceremony, playing a crucial role in ensuring the accurate transmission of vital information and fostering effective communication between international speakers and local guests. The presence and speeches of Mr. Stephen Yurek – Global President of AHRI, and Mr. Bridge Xue – Executive Vice President for Asia, underscored the AHRI certification's commitment to quality, safety, and energy efficiency.
