Interpreters At Forum On Promoting Vietnam – Singapore Trade And Investment
Vietnam-Singapore Friendship Association, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City, hosted the “Connecting to Promote Vietnam – Singapore Trade and Investment” conference at the Vietcombank conference hall. This event marked the 51st anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations and attracted a multitude of businesses and investors from both Vietnam and Singapore.
The conference's main theme centered on enhancing trade and investment cooperation between the two countries through sharing new investment trends, diversifying supply chains, and seeking partnership opportunities. Notable speakers included Mr. Pang Te Cheng, the Consul General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City, who expressed a strong commitment to advancing bilateral relations, and Mr. Vu Viet Ngoan, President of the Vietnam-Singapore Friendship Association, who opened the event with an insightful speech emphasizing the importance of collaboration and trade development.
In addition to discussions on “Achievements of Cooperation Between Vietnam and Singapore,” presented by Mr. Nguyen Duc Hung, Senior Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conference provided valuable insights into “Vietnam’s Economy in 2024” and “Facilitating Vietnam-Singapore Digitalization Cooperation: The Case of Shopee,” presented by Mr. Phan Manh Ha from SEA Group.
