Top 10 EN VI Translators at ASEAN Sugar Alliance
In 2016, seven members of ASEAN – Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Vietnam formed the Asean Sugar Alliance (ASA) to promote regional industry growth and make it more competitive globally.
The 4th ASEAN Sugar Alliance Meeting was held in 2019 by the Vietnam Sugar Association (VSSA) and TTC Sugar at TTC Group 's headquarters in Vietnam, seeking to create a forum for sugar companies in ASEAN to network and exchange visions. Sugar prices are expected to rise as the global sugar market swings back into a 2019/20 season deficit, despite two consecutive surpluses recorded in the last two seasons. At the meeting, industry players turned to establish demand and production trends (for sugar and non-sugar products), trade problems, technological issues, and health and nutrition concerns.
Bagasse's energy capacity also attracted interest. Several countries agreed to leverage this form of renewable asset more frequently. Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines all have policies to allow sugar firms to sell more sugar-generated electricity.
