Interpreting for VIETWATER 2019
Phiendichvien by AKT team is very pleased to accompany Vietwater 2019 - International exhibition on water supply, water purification and wastewater treatment technologies.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Tien, Vice President, General Secretary of Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (http://vwsa.org.vn/) said that organizers looked forwards to connect the community and the leading individuals in the industry, in an attempt to protect clean water resources for the community.
The exhibition attracted more than 400 exhibitors from 38 countries and territories, with the presence of 14 groups of national pavilions including: England, Taiwan (2), Germany, Czech Republic, and Korea (3), France, Finland, Singapore, Thailand, China and Australia.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Dinh Toan noted that Ministry of Construction appreciates the annual exhibition. Besides, the Ministry of Construction hopes that the success of the exhibition will contribute to the implementation of the tasks assigned by the Prime Minister in water supply and drainage in urban and industrial areas in Vietnam.
A number of interesting seminars were found at the exhibition, with the highlight this year being "Urban Flooding - Situation & Solutions" by Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association. This is where our experienced interpreters worked, in three specialized workshops.
The workshops was focused on the overall picture of the situation and solutions for drainage - preventing flooding in urban areas in Vietnam, especially in Ho Chi Minh City. From there, experts shared perspectives on urban planning, solutions and plans to prevent flooding towards sustainable urban development.
In addition, along with VIETWATER 2019, there was also a seminar on Waste & Environment Technology Vietnam 2019 (WETV) with the topic: "Solid waste management in urban and industrial areas - Current situation and Solution". The program was chaired by Vietnam Association of Urban and Industrial Zones and Vietnam Institute of Urban and Industrial Environment. (https://www.moitruongvadothi.vn)
