Interpreting at “Saigon Times CSR 2019” Merit Ceremony
For the very first time, the Saigon Times held the "Saigon Times CSR 2019" Merit Ceremony and the "Spreading CSR Spirit among Business" Seminar to honor corporate social responsibility companies.
At the ceremony, Saigon Times awarded CSR certificates to 41 companies that integrate socially beneficial programs and practices into their business model and culture. They develop CSR projects that finance education and health and help solve problems including poverty, environmental pollution and traffic accidents
They all agree that being a socially conscious company allows them to be closer to achieving sustainable development, suggesting paying more attention to CSR and being inherent in an organization's mission and message.
Despite CSR 's value, a universal description remains elusive. But CSR's more than donating to charity. Charitable acts, including raising funds for relief, granting scholarships, building houses for disadvantaged people, or helping disaster victims, are just one of many ways. CSR allows businesses to understand stakeholder needs and community benefits under which they work.
Many of AKT's interpreters hold managers' roles. It's no wonder that they find it easy to interpret in this and similar events.
