We interpreted for the speech of the Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam at this workshop, and are honored to have participated in interpreting for SBV in many other workshops. In addition, we also translated for representatives from the Vietnam Banks' Association and the Financial Institutions Group, IFC (EAP Regional Manager, Upstream and Advisory Services, FIG, IFC). This session also included the Deputy Director General, Department of Forecast, Statistics, and Monetary & Financial Stability, State Bank of Viet Nam.

This workshop was special because no presentation slides were submitted beforehand; all were discussion sessions. As a result, the experts articulated and shared their stories as well as offered their assessments of the international, regional, and local financial situation. The topic became extremely lively with the simultaneous interpretation of the AKT interpreting team.

Finally, Ms. Maha El Dimachki (Centre Head, Bank for International Settlements (Innovation Hub), Singapore).

We frequently work with financial subjects, and of course, that includes fintech. We can proudly add that we have been present at important moments for Vietnam's and Ho Chi Minh City's financial industry. Mr. Shehryar Ali Shah, Senior Country Officer - Head of Office for Ho Chi Minh City, IFC, moderated the session "AI and GenAI in Finance: Unlocking Inclusion through Innovation." Other speakers in the AI/GenAI session included Professor Xiaoli Li, Head of Information Systems Technology and Design, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD); Mr. Phillip L Wright, COO, HSBC Viet Nam; Mr. Lars Jankowfsky, Founder & CEO, Gradion Viet Nam; and Mr. Santhosh Mahendiran, Chief Data & Analytics Officer, Techcombank, Viet Nam.

Does AKT Translation interpret on credit topics?

The AKT Translation interpreting team interpreted for a major financial conference, and naturally, credit was a significant session, actually two panel sessions. The first panel on credit - "The Future of Credit Operational Infrastructure" - was moderated by Mr. Paul Schroeder, Chief Operating Officer, NusaVest by Standard Chartered, Singapore. Speakers in this session included Mr. Todd Schweitzer, Founder & CEO, Brankas, Philippines; and Mr. Nguyen Anh Quan, Founder and CEO, GIMO Viet Nam.

Mr. Asikul Alam Khan, Founder and CEO, PriyoShop, Bangladesh, moderated the next credit session: "Alternative Data & Scoring Models for Better Access to Credit."
