SSR was founded by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), an international, non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management (SFM). This campaign emphasized the critical nature of sustainable rubber production and the link between it, forest health, and smallholder livelihoods. Additionally, the campaign promoted PEFC as a solution for the sustainable rubber industry and urged countries to collaborate to advance sustainable rubber production.
The members of Phien Dich Vien by AKT have successfully delivered our interpreting service using a team of established interpreters.
At the moment, natural rubber is used in over 40,000 products, with 70% of it going into tire production. It is, hence, safe to say that natural rubber and rubber products have had a profound effect on numerous facets of human life. As a result of these factors, unsustainable rubber production exacerbated by deforestation, land acquisition, and climate change will pose a serious threat to global forest health.
PEFC was founded in response to this situation to provide solutions that balance social, environmental, and economic sustainability, as well as to inspire and assist individuals, businesses, and communities in achieving their sustainability goals.
For the sake of sustainable development, the event welcomed the attendance of rubber experts as well as representatives from international organizations. As a result, the AKT team made every effort to ensure the event's success.
