EN – VI Conference Interpreter at "Vietnam Information Security Day"
“Vietnam Information Security Day” 2019 was an event by the Vietnam Information Security Association (ANISA) with MIC’s Information Security Authority, Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Center (VNCERT), and Cyberspace Operation Command. The theme for 2019 was “Enhancing National Cybersecurity in the Digital Era”.
Seminars are often meetings with educational purpose focusing on some specific topics and including many components of attendance. In seminars, the speakers will make their presentation first and then spend time for discussion.
According to VNISA, given the proliferation of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and the digitization of the economy across the globe and in Vietnam, the issues of information security and cyber security are becoming more relevant and urgent than ever. Indeed, these are the prerequisites to ensure the success of the nation’s digital transformation. The international conference provided a platform for all international and domestic actors in the field of cyber security and information security to meet and share their views on the adoption of a zero-trust model to combat security threats, the application of AI and cloud technology, and the impact of digital transformation on the security sector. This was also an opportunity for them to learn about the Government’s vision and strategies for securing cyberspace in Vietnam, to analyze the current policies, and to seek business opportunities.
In addition to panel discussions and seminars, the conference also featured technology demonstrations and exhibitions for leading cyber and information security organizations to showcase their products and solutions.
