Ho Chi Minh City plans to build dedicated lanes for public bicycles
In April, AKT English Vietnamese interpreters attended numerous international conferences. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands collaborated to organize a training session on the construction and deployment of public bicycle services. Engineers from the Netherlands participated in discussions, games, scenarios, and field trips during the seminar.
The objective is to use public bicycles to help clean the environment, encourage healthy exercise, contribute to the development of public transport, connect bus and metro systems, and reduce personal transportation. Ho Chi Minh City was the first municipality to implement a public bicycle service, which has since spread to a large number of other provinces.
