Welcoming Top Thai brands 2025 to Ho Chi Minh City

The bustling metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City is once again hosting a significant international trade event, the Triển lãm Thương hiệu Hàng đầu Thái Lan 2025, also known as Top Thai Brands 2025. Scheduled to run from May 14th to May 17th, 2025, at Hall A1 of the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), this exhibition serves as a vital platform to promote trade and investment between Thailand and Vietnam. 

The Grand Opening: Rituals, and Culture

The event commenced with a cultural performance, the "Vietnam – Thailand Friendship" Dance Performance, which blended graceful and elaborate body movements with lavish costumes and traditional music, emphasizing intricate arm, hand, and finger movements, symbolizing the friendship between the two nations.

Following the performance, attendees heard welcoming remarks from key figures. Ms. Nguyen Van Nga, identified as the Chief Representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Office in South Vietnam (Phó chánh văn phòng Bộ Công Thương - phụ trách văn phòng Bộ phía Nam), delivered the Welcome Speech. Subsequently, Ms. Usasri Kheorayab, Consul (Commercial) and Director of the Thai Trade Center in Ho Chi Minh City, delivered the Opening Remark. A significant moment of the ceremony was the Opening Ritual, where guests of honor were invited to the stage for a symbolic act, including touching a sphere after a countdown. 

Leaders and Facilitators: The Driving Forces

Numerous officials and representatives from both countries were present. From Vietnamese authorities, notable attendees included Ms. Nguyen Van Nga from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ms. Bui Hoang Yen, Deputy Head of Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, and Mr. Tran Phu Lu, Director of the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City. Representing VINEXAD JSC was Mr. Pham Dang Khanh, Vice General Director.

From Thai authorities, key figures included Ms. Usasri Kheorayab, Consul (Commercial) / Director of Thai Trade Center - Ho Chi Minh City, Mrs. Ganya Manosangiem, Deputy Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Ho Chi Minh Office, Mr. Adisai Prasertsri, Honorary Trade Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, and Mr. Praween Wirotpan, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (ThaiCham). Mr. Napob Thongngamkam, Consul, Royal Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, was also present. The event also welcomed representatives from other commercial offices and associations, including those from Bulgaria, Japan (JETRO), Ho Chi Minh City Association for Women Executives & Entrepreneurs (HAWEE), and Saigon Entrepreneur Association.

Now in its 7th edition, Top Thai Brands 2025 presents a significant scale, featuring 175 exhibitors across 210 booths. The exhibition provides a platform for Thai entrepreneurs from various sectors to showcase high-quality Thai products known for their strong branding and global appeal. Visitors can expect to see a diverse range of products including Food & Beverages, Beauty & Healthcare, Fashion, Household items, and even renowned Thai restaurants operating in Ho Chi Minh City.
