Interpreting at Vietnam Real Estate Summit
Vietnam Real Estate Summit (VRES) is an industry-leading event organized by Vietnam's largest real estate site, Batdongsan.com.vn. Since its inception in 2014, VRES has brought together a large number of experts to connect, network, share their expertise, introduce new solutions and articulate their own versions of the industry 's future.

Batdongsan.com.vn's Deputy General Director, Nguyen Quoc Anh, said next year would be a bumpy road for the property market due to tighter grip on new projects and rising risk coefficient on property loans. “Vietnam's property market is going through a very strange time,” he added. Demand for real-estate products remained high, but the supply declined since the previous quarter, which was unusual. Traditionally, as the housing demand increased, the supply would follow with palpable speed.
According to Batdongsan.com.vn, the number of newly-built buildings and houses declined sharply in 2019. The overall gross floor area was expected to reach 5 million m2 at year-end, while 2018 ended with a more impressive 12 million m2 figure. Although the condotel segment lost its appeal to investors, the land segment and the property market as a whole remained an attractive channel, as profits were greater than other investment models. House prices in HCMC increased by 12% per year, while the average bank deposit rate was 8% and the Vn-Index rose by only 9% per year.
