Excellent seminar VI EN Interpreters for “Introducing potentials to develop Ho Chi Minh City’s medical tourism products”
In the 15th International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC 2019), AKT team interpreted for the seminar “Introducing potentials to develop HCMC’s medical tourism products”
The seminar was held by the HCMC Department of Tourism and the Department of Health to advertise the service that combines tourism and health care in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNTWO), six trends that would shape the future travel industry are responsible tourism, ecotourism, community-based tourism, innovative tourism, smart tourism, and last but not least, the very focus of the seminar, medical tourism.
Medical tourism has increasingly been identified as a priority for economic development. Diversifying products or incorporating the latest trends would contribute to increasing the number of visitors to Vietnam.
As one of the largest annual tourism events in Vietnam, the seminar brought the spotlight to Vietnam’s key medical products and services involving traditional medicine and acupuncture, dental care, cosmetic surgery, pathological screening, and artificial insemination.
