AKT cabin interpretation at nutrition conference
Our journey with the Global Nutrition Summit 2025, hosted by Mead Johnson Nutrition Institute in Da Nang, has successfully concluded. Phien Dich Vien by AKT team had the pleasure of working with an incredibly charming, professional, and thoughtful crew. From our initial online meetings with Mead Johnson Vietnam to the event day itself, where we met the international team, everyone was genuinely caring and always ready to bend over backward to support the interpreters. On the first day in the booth, I mildly complained that my view of the speaker was obstructed. No sooner said than done, about five minutes later, there was a knock on the door, and a mini-cam was brought in. On the second day, they even moved the entire barrier in front of us. There’s nothing left to be desired when it comes to the organization.
This kind of recognition gives us a spring in our step, motivating us to excel further in our work. Whether interpreting complex topics in medicine, industry, or economics, we always find the information fascinating and enjoy transforming it through simultaneous interpretation for attendees with headsets, both on-site and potentially online.
This allowed the two interpreters to soak up the conference program, which was rich with valuable content on early childhood nutrition, broadly categorized into three main themes:
- The role of the gut microbiota in the bidirectional communication between the enteric nervous system and the central nervous system, also known as the gut-brain axis (GBA).
- Differences in gut microbiota composition between C-section and normal/vaginal delivery infants, and the health implications (functional digestive disorders and allergies).
- Neurological development and well-being through nutrition, focusing on MFGM and its key polar lipids.
The most rewarding part was during lunch when colleagues from the company and even the doctors recognized us and praised our interpreting. We see this as a pat on the back for our efforts spent poring over materials day and night, and it truly fuels our passion.
The Phien Dich AKT team has participated in numerous medical events for leading companies. Each conference is an opportunity for us to learn, contribute, and succeed alongside our clients. It was a week overflowing with knowledge and delightful connections. We are truly grateful for this work.
