Interpreting at the Seminar on New forms of collateral in the digital economy
In secured transactions, collateral is often associated with immovable assets (e.g., buildings, vehicles), or recently inventory, account receivables. As technology advances, digital assets, nonetheless, pose great challenges to lawmakers in identifying and regulating this new form of collateral. This is also a topic of IFC-led discussion, facilitated by the AKT translation team, among law practitioners at home and abroad in the seminar. A demanding topic that requires hours of research and broad background knowledge, yet the feedback is rewarding.
