Bilingual MC at Vietfood & Beverage – ProPack 2019
AKT team was chosen for the international exhibition “Vietfood & Beverage – ProPack 2019” held by Vinexad, Viet Nam Association of Liquor, Beer and Beverage (VBA), and Food and Foodstuff Association of Ho Chi Minh City (FFA).
Simultaneous interpreter and bilingual MC, Mr. Khang Nguyen, was trusted to take the lead at the opening ceremony.
This event was seen as a great opportunity for international enterprises based in industrial parks to seek local distributors in Vietnam.
What does it take to be a professional EN VI bilingual host? To make the event is one to remember, the MC is supposed to be eloquent, and able to engage customers. An excellent bilingual MC is expected to be adept at interpreting and can function well under pressure, particularly when speakers start going off script.
On a total area of 15.000 m2, the expo featured 650 booths of 550 companies from 20 countries around the globe. Products displayed include food, seafood, beverages, nutritional food, medicinal food, raw materials, food additives, machinery manufacturing and packaging, food preservation, and franchising. This year, the expo also added a new element – Organic and Natural Food Stall to tackle an emerging national problem, food poisoning, and contamination.
Although the standard of living is improved, health issues keep attracting more attention. For that reason, food processing and food packaging rise to the forefront of consumers’ concerns.
