English MC at Conference/Seminar

Ho Chi Minh City hit the ground running with an impressive opening ceremony for a series of five prominent trade promotion events, including the 22nd Vietnam International Trade Fair, the 9th International Exhibition of Hand Tools and Hardware, the 2024 Vietnam Supporting Industry Products Exhibition, the 3rd Vietnam Elevator Expo, and the 2024 Home and garden expo. The event, raising the bar with its theme "Solutions for Modern Life," attracted over 800 enterprises from 20 countries and territories.

The ceremony featured host Lien Thao, while the English segment was in the capable hands of host Khang Nguyen, who has made a name for himself at many major forums, including significant events such as the TPO Asian Tourism Cities Conference, the Autodesk Vietnam Forum, serving as interpreter and host at the World Coffee Museum Exhibition in Buon Ma Thuot, and the inauguration of the Hayat Kimya industrial park and factory with the attendance of government leaders, among many others. As noted by a member of the organizing committee after the ceremony, Khang Nguyen's calm and trustworthy voice knocked it out of the park with both foreign and Vietnamese guests.

The opening ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Mr. Vo Tan Thanh, Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); and Mr. Le Quoc Cuong, Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park (SHTP). Ms. Nguyen Van Nga, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, delivered a welcoming speech emphasizing the event's importance in promoting economic and trade cooperation. Mr. Nguyen Hai Duc, Chairman of the Vietnam Elevator Association, introduced the Elevator Exhibition with the theme "Elevators - Art and Architecture." Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, officially declared the exhibition series opened.

Additionally, architect Nguyen Thu Phong, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Architects, and Mr. Dao Minh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Trade and Investment Promotion Center (ITPC), were also present. On the international front, Mr. Zhang Lexiang, Secretary-General of the China Elevator Association, and Ms. Shirley Marguerite Hopman Aluwihare, Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Ho Chi Minh City, attended the event.
