Interpreting at Vietnam Expo 2019
The 17th Vietnam International Trade Fair – Vietnam Expo 2019 was organized by Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency – VIETTRADE in collaboration with Vinexad JSC. This year, more than 850 exhibitors from 20 countries presented their products in 900 booths spanning 10,000m2. They were all excited to show how versatile and distinctive their products were, to almost 20,000 visitors and seek new business contacts in a host of promising partners.
Vietnam Expo 2019 also featured specialized exhibits to help domestic firms raise brand awareness and keep their brands relevant.
The Hardware and Hand Tools Expo was held to promote the mechanical engineering industry and to draw attention to four main categories of products, including repairs, machines and hand tools. As part of the Expo, the DIY Vietnam Workshop offered a platform for people wanting to learn how to build things with their own hands, but without know-how or materials. Visitors had the ability to design interiors and use resources.
Simultaneously, the Garden and Landscape Expo was held to spread appreciation for nature's beauty. By introducing clean garden technologies, advanced gardening machinery and intelligent lighting systems, expo brings solutions to those who want to make a difference in their living space.
Previously getting the MC script doesn't mean bilingual MC can feel the pressure any less demanding. Since the exhibition had multiple events, bilingual MCs had to adapt to changes, to own the stage with confidence, and especially to remain calm when interpreting, even without prior documents.
