Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC), in cooperation with HCMC’s Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), held this conference to provide an overview of the Vietnamese investment market in the new normal and protection methods to facilitate the adaptation of foreign investors. The conference took place simultaneously at the REX Saigon hotel and via online platform with the participation of representative of foreign investors, Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM), HCMC’s management agencies.

At the conference, the representative of foreign investors shared their companies’ reactions to the prolonged social distancing in Vietnam to gradually recover business activities. CIEM touches on the macroeconomic picture, putting the emphasis on the recovery road map and Government’s supporting policies for foreign-invested companies. There were also VIAC’s recommendations on protection methods to help FDI enterprises sustain and thrive in Vietnam’s new normal – living with COVID-19.
